choir festival@concordia university 11/6/07

choir festival.
left school at 4:30
came back to school at 10 pm
took me an hour to get ready. went to mcD’s. bought food. went to school. ate. helped some girls with their hair. boarded the bus.
ipod frenzy time with bestfriend/sister.
i had the right earphone, juno had the left.
and we sat there and listened to slow songs and sang along
listening to those songs make me miss him alot..and it somehow makes me sad.
juno and i kept playing the same songs over and over again.

anyways the bus drive was quite a long way.
got to concordia.
one word: COLD
i could feel the wind penetrating my stockings and my jacket.
and lopez said we’d have time to eat/drink/go potty but we didn’t.
so i was hungry. and thirsty. i thought we would be able to come back to the bus to get food, etc but we didn’t.
woww.
3 hours CLINIC festival. that’s just..BORING and LONG.
and walnut was last.
saww two other show choirs there.
los alamitos and esperanza.
esperanza was amazing. soloist had a wonderful voice.
i mean..after a few minutes, everyone’s bored, tired, grumpy but when esperanza went on, we sat straight up and listened intently.
at least i did…
anyways, other choirs included el monte, irvine, woodbridge anddd other schools i don’t recall.
i think by the time walnut went up to perform, the adjudicator was too tired to really comment and criticize us.
he just said we sounded matured,looked mature (wtheck?! how?!), looked classy, and had great flute players.
i hope we did good.
it was so cold!
the whole time i was singing, i was like shakingg because it was so cold!

I MUST MUST MUST GO TO CHIPOTLE.
i want some of that burrito. (thinking about it gets my saliva flowing.._
i like rice in my burritos. :X (sorry cinno)

 did you know that the most effective way to study is in the shower? nothing like taping your vocab sheets to the shower walls while getting down and clean
oh plus. it’s a pretentious way of showing your parents how diligent you’re being when in actuality, your mind is nowhere near memorizing those futile words.
but hey, they don’t know that. And it definitely is an irreproachable action. It’ll only earn you extra brownie points.

It’s like killing three birds with one stone.
1. actually studying
2. getting clean
3. getting on your parent’s good side

good luck to all SAT-victims.
either you’re shunned and forever disgraced by your so called “unacceptable” score even though it’s jaw-dropping good or your parents show their “love” (right..) by buying you that…*insert item used to bribe you into studying*

19years&friend&essay

Happy Anniversary to my parents!
19 years and still counting!

My friend came.
Oh the pain. The misery.

I got my summer reading essay back.
I did decent.
Good effort for a first essay.
I guess I was indirect in answering the 2nd part of the prompt (there were four parts). I should have answered it more directly. Other than that, some of my sentences were verbose. I did get praised though
