Things about 9 months:

2. Birth = around 9 months

5. babies usually learn how to stand up at 9 months
6. babies ususally say mama and papa at 9 months
7. walden university special program for disabled people usually lasts 9 months.
8.a person ususally breaths from 27900 to 55800 times in 9 months

Lots of the things that i’m gonna do today is gonna revolve around 9

this is now the 9 reasons I like susan lu=)

1. because whenever she sees me she smiles REALLY BIG
2. because she eats my food even though sometimes i don’t like what i cook, and she is happy with the food she eats and goes this is REALLY GOOD=)
3. because whenever i do anything wrong she’s still able to forgive me and ends up making the day a lot better.
4. because she sings really well even though she sings really soft
5. because she talks a lot  =P and is able to get a conversation stable
6. because she likes to do a lot of things i like to do
7. because she’s really smart O_O (side note it is now 4:44 as i am writing this)
8. because she’s on my side most of the time and backs me up and pushes me forward even when i can’t push myself
9. because she’s not lazy…. most of the time =P

but wait!!!!! doesn’t this seem really lame and stupid, i mean only 9 reasons why i like the love of my life…. nooo this can’t be
that’s why we at corporation peter loves susan we’re adding 8!!!! more REASONS why peter likes susan =) because susan’s favorite number is 8! so on this extraordinary day june 19th 2008 we are offering 17 reasons for the price of 9! at the low cost of going out on a date with peter chien. I think it’s worth it, the whole corporation peter loves susan thinks it’s worth it, and we LIKE IT!

so let’s get on with the show the next 8 reasons

1. she always wants my attention
2. she always gives me attention
3. she has been with me for 9 months even though we had many problems
4. she is really understanding of my faults
5. she makes a mean alfredo chicken dumpling
6. she swims really well
7. she knows how to have a lot of fun
8. she makes my parents happy =)

what did you say? 17 is just not enough for you!? what? you want an aunchor? okay… here we go we’re gonna give you 7!!!! more reasons why peter chien loves susan, butttt these are suppose to be very deep, and if this doesn’t please you…. then i have failed here as the administrator of corporation peter loves susan and i will give up on life. BUT WAIT i’m not done yet, i’m still gonna give you these brilliant reasons for why peter chien loves susan. So hold onto your horses, and hold your checks read this before you ask for your refund because it ain’t over till the fat lady sings…. or in the case, when the skinny lady squeals. (audience laughs)

1. even though i don’t have anything fantastic about me she cares about me and likes me and loves me, even though i’m not super funny she still laughs even though i’m not really good looking she thinks i’m great looking even though i’m not that smart she thinks i’m a genius even though i can’t sing she thinks i’m very harmonic and calming even though the food i make isn’t that great she thinks it’s a chief’s recipe.
2. even though we fought so many times and there are many times she could have left me she’s still here and she’s closer to me then ever instead of moving farther away
3. She can turn any situation into something that makes me happy, she makes everything seem really fantastic, and beautiful
4. she can look at anything and see the good parts and be really positive for me, even though i’m so negative she makes everything + =)
5. she likes all the little things i do i don’t have to do something big for her to see it, she enjoys it all big or small and makes it big inside her heart.
6. she’s got eyes on me, not eyes on 2 places or 3 places but eyes on me, even though she could go after other people instead of me she’s right here with eyes on me, and she wants my eyes on her.
7. i love her cause she loves me =)

My 18th birthday :)

today’s my birthday and im finally legal
I don’t feel 18, nor do I feel older but I do feel extra special and loved by so many wonderful friends!
Thank you for making my 18th birthday absolutely amazing and unforgettable!

On saturday, peter and i celebrated my birthday with his family! We went to laguna hills and ate dinner at this small italian restaurant. i reallly enjoyed the food and just spending time with him doing so many things I don’t usually do! As a celebration of my “last few days of childhood” we went shopping and he pushed me in the shopping cart! I haven’t sat in the shopping cart for about 10 years whee! I have the video recording on my phone Then at night, while I was watching T.V., his sister came to turn off the lights and a few minutes later, peter came in singing happy birthday and holding a cake with a candle on it and cream puffs on the sidee! I was really surprised and I thought it was so sweet since no one has actually ever done that for me and it’s like one of those movie moments where you go “aww.” So yes, I felt like I was in a movie Thank you so much! For remembering that I loveee chocolate, that I loveee ice cream cake and that my parents never buy me ice cream cake ever for my birthday because they think winter is not the time for ice cream (the only other ice cream cake I got was from cindy and janet for my 17th birthday!)!! Thank you so much for even getting me cream puffs! You’re the best! I’m sorry I don’t have pictures for saturday

okay so for those of you who don’t know…actually, i’m not sure who knows..
but my mom doesn’t buy cups or glasses anymore cause for some reason, they always break.
So i’m constantly drinking out of a bowl..those small chinese bowls and then they can barely fill up anything to drink so after a few gulps, i’m done
but now i have my own cup!
And it’s not just any plain glass. I don’t think you can see but there are pandas on it. (haha michael chang, you jealous?)
I think Leo and I are gonna split this we can have matching cups!yayyyy!

saturday, peter and i went to xpose to take pictures at 12. there was no one there! hooorayyy
we saw kevin and madriseee
after pictures, we walked around in the cvs pharmacy  near xpose to wait for our proofs then we went to juice it up and stuff.
kevin kept taking my man. rawrrrrr.
madrise, tell him to back off. >D
afterwards, kevin, madrise, peter and i went to cue to take pictures (yes, the girls dragged the guys! ) and to banana bay
rad na is really good i likeeee. so is ice tea float
then peter and i picked up our xpose pictures and we went back to his place to hang out.
we watched a moment with you by wong fu.
It’s an okay movie. i recommend it ONLY if you have too much time on your hands.

Genesis Winter Retreat 2008

So I’m back from retreat!
This year was my very first retreat and I had alot of fun
I’m kind of sad that everything’s over- that this four day weekend is over…that AMAZING RACE is over T_T

The older girls stayed on one side and the younger girls on the other side

So during free time and in the mornings, people stayed inside the rec room. And we pigged out on snacks, played bang, big2 and pool

So saturday morning, I woke up at 5:30 and about 10 people went up the mountains to see the sunrise.
we didn’t really see the sunrise..more the dark turn into the light.
but it was still fun and it was a great way for me to experience the cold.
first time that i’ve seen snow!
It wasnt snowing or anything but there was still leftover snow on the ground here and there

a few of the girls made this haha. it’s so cutee and tiny.
And they were going to make frosty’s girlfriend but she turned out to be a lump of dirt
I don’t know if they finished her or not.

saturday afternoon was amazing race
it took us forever to find clues! and to figure them out but it was well worth it
I think the funnest part was when we found tony and he made us rack up  two hundred points by running laps, doing push ups, and sit ups ON THE COLD, WET, MUDDY GROUND.
peter did most of the pushups and situps. but the whole group did a four person pushup and basically you’re doing a pushup while someone is on top of you. that was painful, hard, but funn and i did some situps.
getting muddy and dirty was fun
that was an awesome workout because we were basically running up and down the moutain, looking for clues and for people for four hours
and i found out what orion’s belt looked like when peter showed me at night hooray.

now on a more serious note, I thought that this retreat really made me think about my relationship with God.
the theme of this year’s retreat was “wholly devoted”
Tony talked about
-why do you come to church?
-Christianity has alot to offer you, God has alot to offer you
-we take God for granted sometimes
-what is your relationship with God?
-matthew 7:22 says “many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name dirve out demons and perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

Norbert talked about what it meant to be wholly devoted and how to be wholly devoted.
-how you have to know what you’re getting into.
-You cannot say “i’m going to give christianity a try“
-Devotion is  1) a decision to trust God with all your heart. It’s all or nothing.
                        2) an expression of complete self abandonment
-Devotion is maintained by including God in every aspect of your life.
-there’s a big difference between a fan and a follower of God.
-To know God for who he is to recognize devotion.
-Devotion is developed when we recognize God’s majesty, eternity and glory/holiness.
-Sometimes, God breaks you to make you realize his grace which leads you to appreciate his grace.
-live like Josiah (2 Kings 23:25)

Norbert also talked about how when you’re in a relationship with another person
you should push each other spiritually.
you should find a mentor.
you should keep each other accountable, pray together, and be totally honest with one another

and in friendships,
you should keep each other accountable.

disneyland with choir+dbhs winter concert+peter

so i went to disneyland with choir monday 12/10
i totaly forgot what happened except it was freezing cold and we went on alot of rides
and i’m so glad i didn’t get soaked on splash mountain cause we went on it at night
i bought alot of food.
and i bought something for pumo.
I’ll post it up once i give it to him because it’s a surprise

i thought sleeping beauty’s castle was extra pretty, this year

okay that’s it. on with the next thing. i’m too lazy to talk about disneyland haha

went to db’s winter concert! some really amazing voices and solos.
anyways their teacher’s so chill. they can go around campus before the concert and meet up with people
whereas lopez locks us up in jail and sneaks us into the bathrooms like she’s smuggling illegal drugs.
anyways peter♥ is definitely the cutest guy on stage!

he’s crazy. so one time in the car, he drove with his eyes closed and hands off the steering wheel and i had to steer for him. -.- but it was in a neighborhood so that’s good.

Choir Winter Concert

It’s the most wonderful time of the year!
What could be more joyous than choir kids putting on another winter concert?

though it didn’t rain, it was still fun walking under the umbrella with you.

thank you uting and all the other diamond bar kids for putting up with that 2 hour, long, kinda boring concert.

concert was fun!
this year, backstage, we had our own little worship time.
David brought his guitar and people gathered around him to sing.
And we sang “great is your faithfulness, i could sing of your love forever” and i forgot the other names.
and i met two new people from mustang David and Daniel.

Thank you justine sy for doing my eyeshadow both days. you’re pro.
i’m kinda sad that friday concert was over because it was really fun.
I was really excited and the fact that i’ll never have another choir winter concert again saddens me
this was my last choir winter concert! T_T

I think overrall, we did a pretty good job.
DISNEYLAND MONDAY

after friday concert, went out to eat with kiddos
peter and i drowned 5 glasses of lemonade.
i hope we didn’t piss off the waitress too much with “refill on the lemonade please” every five minutes.
But DANG that guy…wow…one “sip” for him is 3/4 of the glass.

peter’s house+frank+gary’s birthday

yesterdayyy 11/23, I went to peter’s housee

travis, peter and i made a fire in the fireplace. That was awesome cause i’ve never done that before. 
Kind of scary. Ate pringles, cleaned up peter’s room, went out in the backyard!

After travis left, peter and I took pictures and we went and bought ice cream and chips for frank and gary’s party.
that was fun. A gallon and a half of ice cream :)Yummy. $10 bucks worth of ice cream.

Went to gary and frank’s house. Ate. Prank calls (wow that was funny but I feel very sad for the people who had to deal with the pork, police, pringleman, and a “drunk” cameron and a very uncalled for comment from peter thing) haha…

Bowling+Souplantation

Yesterday, Peter picked me up and we went back to his house to chill.
I Helped him clean up his room a little bit and we went to souplantation with other people.
I feel so bad though, I made him eat to the point where he almost bursted
haha.
Sorry dear.
Then afterwards, went bowling with travis and peter.
It was my first time bowling and it was really fun. yayy. haha.
I saw other people too: Megan and her bf, Britt, Jessica Liu, Miho.
It’s so weird having four people run up to you going “WHICH ONE IS HE?”
haha. I got tired half way cause my feet started hurting and stuff so I just watched peter and travis play.
Peter had so many strikes haha. Thanks for giving me a strike too
